A personal digital cookbook

RecipeBox is a site made for you to store, organize, and share recipes.

RecipeBox

Importantly, it is not a recipe exploration or discovery tool - there are plenty of sites out there for that already. This is about keeping your recipes organized and easy to find. Your recipes are private by default - meaning nobody else can see them. Secret recipes are safe here.

However, if you want to share a recipe, you can download it as a PDF, or make it public and get a sharable link which anyone can follow, and which you can take down at anytime.

Why?

Too many all-in-one information apps, and too much distributed knowledge. Too many share-centric, data-hungry tools

I wanted a single-purpose notebook for my recipes. Easy to use, easy to open, easy to add, easy to share. No ads, fast, and quick to search & view.

Main goals:

RecipeBox is a work-in-progress

Made with React, GraphQL, Apollo on Vercel (serverless hosting) and Fauna (serverless Database)
